Ms Jenny Dawson

Ms Jennifer Dawson served as an Independent Director of the Bendigo and Adelaide Bank board for 15 years prior to her retirement in October 2014.  She remains Chair of the banks subsidiary Sandhurst Trustees Limited.  She previously served as Chairman of the Adelaide Managed Funds board in April 2008 until August 2009. Jenny also is the Chair of V/Line Corporation, Victoria’s regional passenger rail provider, and Independent Chair of the Goulburn Murray Water Corporation Audit Committee. 

Prior to her Non-Executive Director career Ms Dawson spent ten years with Arthur Andersen in the audit and IT controls division and has experience in the areas of financial reporting and auditing, IT internal control reviews, internal audit and risk management.

Mr Stephen Treanor
Independent Director
BA (Econ), MBA (Fin)

Mr Stephen Treanor is a financial consultant. Over the past 22 years, he has advised a wide range of companies on credit risk assessment, debt structuring, and the securitisation of financial assets. Previously, he was a commercial banker and credit analyst in the United States and served as managing director of the Australasian operations for Moody's Investors Service. Mr Treanor is also a professional director of securitisation related companies. Current directorships include Nexus Bonds Limited, Select Access Investments Limited, Nihao Global Corporation Limited and Structured Risk Alternatives Pty Limited.

Mr Bruce Speirs
Executive Director

Mr Bruce Speirs joined the Bendigo and Adelaide Bank Group in 2004 and since that time has held a variety of senior roles in Group Finance, Rural Bank, Managed Funds, Products and Portfolio Funding. Bruce currently holds the role of Executive Partner Connection, with responsibility for the Third Party Banking, Wealth and Leveraged business units and is also a Director of Sandhurst Trustees.

Prior to joining the Bendigo and Adelaide Bank Group, Bruce spent nine years working with Ernst & Young in various Audit and Corporate Finance roles in their Adelaide, London and Palo Alto offices.

Bruce holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Flinders University, a Masters of Business Administration from Macquarie Graduate School, is a graduate of the AICD Company Directors course and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants. Bruce is also the Chair of Windmill Theater Company, a national performing arts company focused on children, teen and family audiences.
